We got a new "t" for t-ball. We sit out in right field at Dad's games so the kids can run around. It is a perfect set-up for us. The Cobbers had a great year finishing 2nd in the MIAC and Dad was awarded Coach of the Year! Tyden's favorite part is running around the bases after the games. The field is now all torn up as they are getting Field Turf. We kept home plate!

Easter!
The Easter Bunny came multiple times for Tyden on Easter Sunday. He came to our house and brought Tyden a new bat and some other goodies. He came to Auntie Jennifer's house (but really I think it was the Grandma Penny Easter Bunny)! There were eggs everywhere in the backyard! It was a beautiful day so we played some t-ball....actually we played a lot of t-ball. It is absolutely exhuasting! Some of dad's players came for Easter so they took turns playing t-ball with Tyden which gave me a little break. Oh and I can't forget the carrot bat! Only my mother would find a carrot bat! :)

The Metrodome!
We took Tyden to Minneapolis 2 weekends in a row, for dad's Cobber games and then for the boys basketball state tournament. Tyden's eyes were like saucers when we walked into the Metrodome! He saw Kirby Puckett's picture and started to shake! We put on our rally caps and they worked, we went to the mall and tried on Vikings horns, and we went swimming, and the best part was running the bases in the metrodome! Oh and Tyden got to see Target Field from the skyway and the conversation went like this...
Tyden- Mommy, that is where the Twins play!
Me- Yep, they will play there, they used to play in the Metrodome!
Tyden- Do I get to go there someday?
Me- Yep, we get to go in May.
Tyden- After he got done jumping up and down after I said he could go to a game he said, "Mommy, that is a really cool place!"
Me- haha yes it is!
Go Brett Go!

Oh boy, it is getting worse.
Yep, that is a hockey stick you see. My dad was the instigator here...our head hockey coach gave my dad an old hockey stick and our custodian shaved it down so it was shorter. Then I showed it to Tyden and it was all over. He even had to lay it in his room while he slept, and he holds it while he watches cartoons. The stick is even for left-handers! Tyden told Bryant, "Daddy, I am lucky....I am glad to have a real hockey stick."
What is wrong with this?
EVERYTHING!! I know Tyden is only 2 1/2 but he seems interested in hockey. I guess I will let him be interested so we bought some hockey skates. He didn't love skating, but he loved scoring a goal! And yes, he is using a golf club and a basketball to score the goal. Haha, we are not a hockey family! :) He told me he wants to try skating again. He loved wearing his skates in the house! We have to try them on often!
p.s. he still does like to shoot baskets too! Thank goodness!!!
