Baby Bump...well more like a mountain!

So I am not a huge fan of "baby bump" pictures (probably because everyone tells me it looks like I am having twins...nice) but this was too sweet not to share. My belly gets a lot of attention from the future big brother. Tyden reads to baby, sings to baby, lays on baby, and most of all kisses baby!! We finally got a picture of it. Not too much longer left as baby is supposed to arrive just after Christmas. Tyden attended a big brother class and took it quite seriously. He was actually really good at changing diapers! They learned how to hold babies safely, feed them with a bottle, and the rules of having to always ask mom or dad if they can hold the baby and to make sure they wash their hands before. He got to tour the nursery and of course have a snack at the end. :)

Basketball

Tyden and Austin are playing basketball on Saturday's at the YMCA in Fargo. It is very serious! :) So serious, that Tyden told me he needed to wear a shirt with a number on it so I knew who to cheer for! :) Tyden and Austin definitely had the most fans there!! And the cutest part was that everytime Tyden would make a basket he would look at his Uncles to see their approval!

Halloween

Tyden wanted to be a football player for Halloween. It was great because we had everything already! Papa Bucky just had to bring home some eye black. :) We did our annual carving pumpkins with Papa Bucky too. We always go trick-or-treating with cousins Katelynn and Austin and their cousins Noah and Eli. It was a fun night filled with lots of candy and of course a trip to see Uncle Todd.

Gopher Hockey

We surprised Tyden by taking him to the Gopher Hockey game. He thought we were just going to the Cobber football game at Hamline (which we did that too). We told him when we parked the car. He was sooooooo excited!! He didn't blink for the first 30 minutes we were inside the building! He didn't even want to go to the concession stand because he didn't want to miss warm-ups! His face says it all...

Baby Bergeson #2 on the way!!!

YES, we are finally having another baby!!! We are due the end of December! Tyden is thrilled. His first comment was, "Mom, this is just what I've been waiting for!!!!" We are very excited to bring another little one into the world and there will be a terrific big brother awaiting his/her arrival!!!

Easter!

We celebrated Easter in Montevideo this year! It was a lot of fun for Tyden to get to play with Gma Kaia, Gpa Bruce and his Uncles! Tyden played basketball, played with all the toys Gma Kaia kept from when her boys were little, and died Easter eggs.

Spring Time....Kind Of

When the sun finally decided to shine Tyden wanted to play hockey outside. Hockey is almost a sin in my family, but he really likes it so I guess he can enjoy it for awhile. :) This was also at the time where he was really into wearing pajama pants the minute he got home from school.

Cobber Baseball

This spring was terrible weather for baseball, but the kids still found ways to enjoy it. Our typical "camp chaos" in right field did not exist because of all the standing water so the kids had to make their baseball field near the dugout. A couple times they hit balls into the field so we could only play in-between innings. :) The kids got good use out of their baseball pants, cleats, bases, etc. They loved running the bases on the new turf field!! Enjoy the "muddy" pictures!

Bergeson Happenings

Tyden has been busy. His Uncle Todd devised a plan in what resembles shoulder pads. This is a typical outfit after church on Sundays. The baseballs in a line was a creation of Tyden's during his "nap." And finally, the dreaded interest in hockey. There is no possibly way I could be a hockey mom, but I will let him continue his interest for awhile. He is obsessed! The other day he said, "Mom when I run out of the locker room (his bedroom) and you see my number yell Go Tyden, ok?" We are begging for the snow to melt so we can play baseball outside again. He is too big to hit inside so we have learned to bunt. :)

Christmas

I realized I posted pictures from the Bergeson Christmas, but not the Burgau Christmas. We had a lot of fun! For EVERY present Tyden opened he said, "Just what I wanted!" Especially when he opened the "cleat shoes" he asked for from Santa. Just recently he said, "Mom, maybe Santa will bring me a mouth guard next year." Currently he has been using orange peelings as his mouth guards. :)

Graduation

Well this is a little late, but now that basketball is winding down (playoffs this week!) I have a little more time to update. I actually completed my oral defense in August, but walked through graduation for my Master's degree in December. It has been so nice having that completed!
