Well, I don't bake much for Christmas since this is my busy time at work....but now that Tyden gets so excited we did make one thing. It is really easy and took us maybe 30 minutes. You take round pretzels, hershey kisses (we used milk chocolate, hugs, and the new peppermint ones). You put the kisses in the middle of the pretzel and bake them at 300 for 3 minutes...once they come out of the oven you put an M&M on top and stick them outside until they harden!! Tyden did almost all of it! He unwrapped the kisses (fine motor! :) ), put the kisses in the middle of the pretzel and then ate the finished product! We didn't let him put the M&Ms on as they were too hot. We had so much fun!!

Tyden
We took some pictures to use for our Christmas card. We have managed to get Tyden to smile without crinkling his nose! But most importantly we have only been in the ER once in the past 6 months! :) We have the whole asthma thing figured out now and his nebulizer has been an absolute blessing. He can now run the bases without couging and wheezing so hard he would throw-up! He has only gotten croup once in the past 6 months (which was our 1 trip to the ER as he couldn't inhale...an absolutely terrible experience!). We were used to what he sounded like with croup since he has had it about 7 times now, but he never had trouble inhaling before! We did the "egg challenge" so he can now eat eggs without reacting, but the nuts will be an allergy forever I think!
WHEW!
I know it has been long overdue for a new post! Up until this very hour, I have been doing scouting reports, traveling to games and to watch recruits, finishing my grad school classes (1 semester left!!!), and squeezing in some Tyden time! I am currently at home after a 6am practice and I am watching Regis & Kelly and not feeling guilty about it! :) I am so happy to have a break as it is much needed. Tyden has been a trooper through it all. He comes recruiting with me so I don't feel like a workaholic! He recently showed me how he can "follow-through like mom's players"...he really does follow-through when he shoots baskets! He reminds me everyday that he is still on Santa's good list. We did take him to Santa's village and he was rather impressed with Santa and the real reindeer...he continues to talk about how he saw the reindeer going potty! :) :) We did the potty training thing over a long weekend in October. He was actually pretty easy and now he wears underwear at night like Papa's players! :) Here is a picture of Tyden, Katelynn and Austin at Santa's village.
