We took Tyden to see Santa and he did very well! Last year he would stand by him, but this year he hopped right up on his lap. He told him he wanted "Cleat Shoes" to play football and baseball in. Good thing I ran to Scheels this fall when he first told me this and found 1 pair left!!! Tyden got to make a cookie with Mrs. Claus, make a Christmas ornament and see the reindeer. It was freezing out, but Tyden was so excited I couldn't put it off another day!

Christmas Program
Christmas
Tyden had so much fun at our first Christmas of the year! It was also the first Christmas I hosted! All went well. It was very cozy around our table, but I don't think anyone minded. Between the Leapster2, his Minnesota Twins book, and the Vikings uniform...I can't believe we have yet another Christmas! Tyden is a lucky boy! Tyden asked me to take a picture of him during the National Anthem because he said he had a game vs. the Cardinals at 10:00..that is what the sideways picture is :) Oh and the hockey stop....as you can see he likes to wear his hockey skates indoors. He said "Mom take a picture of my hockey stop!"

Push-ups
Well, Tyden has been doing push-ups. I asked him why he was doing them and he simply said, "To get stronger Mom!"
So today he had his flu shot and I told him he was strong and brave. And he grumpily replied, "I am not strong today because I haven't done my push-ups yet!" What have we created?????

The Fall Festival
Well, the fall is officially here! We went to the Fall Festival (an annual tradition) and played games, went on rides (including a pony ride!) and picked out a pumpkin for the front steps. We also finally picked a Halloween costume. It was quite a chore this year. He had a lot of ideas of what he wanted to be, but thankfully I talked him out of being a blue crayon. :) He has chosen a blue dinosaur!! Pictures to be posted very soon!

Cobber Football is here!!
Well, it has been far too long since I have last put up any pictures. Sorry! But the good news is that when I was absent from blogging, I finished my Master's degree!! Tyden is very happy I don't have to "type my paper anymore". But now he doesn't like it when I "call cruits" (call recruits). :)
Here are some pictures...
1. Tyden being held by Koreen. This is Bryant's aunt that lives in Texas. I couldn't believe how Tyden let her hold him! She has the magic touch as I know she gets lots of practice with her grandkids.
2. The Bergeson Family after the Cobber Football game!
3. Pretty sure it doesn't get any cuter! We are all so proud of Todd. Tyden heard Todd's name announced after his catch and his eyes got big and he started jumping up and down. He is so lucky to have all of these uncles!

Empty Nest
Tyden is spending a few days in Montevideo with his Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncles! I feel so lost, except I am using my time to work on my Master's paper which needs to be done by the middle of August. I will officially have my Master's degree in August!! Tyden is having a lot of fun in Montevideo. He has played Marble Works (a game that his daddy used to play), gone to the park, played on Uncle Todd's summer rec t-ball team, and I think going to the pool is next on the agenda. Here are some pictures I got from Grandma Kaia from all of their adventures in Monte!

Tyden is 3!!!!
Tyden turned 3 on Monday, June 21st. We had so much fun. Sunday was his party and then on Monday we did everything on his list. We jumped on the trampoline, went to the park, went to Johnny Carino's for lunch, played t-ball and then Gma and Gpa Bergeson came to take him to Chuck-E-Cheese for supper. He sure had a lot of fun!!!
Go Redhawks!
We have been going to a lot of ballgames so far this summer. Between the Redhawks and Daddy's legion baseball team, Tyden gets his fair share of games in. Tyden got to go in the clubhouse and give high fives to some of the players. He loved it!!! He told me all about it....
Tyden: Mom, I got to go in the clubhouse!
Me: Oh fun, what did you do in there?
Tyden: I gave Nic Jackson (his favorite player) knucks!
Me: Cool!
Tyden: And I told him to swing all the way through!
Me: I was laughing really hard at this point and couldn't respond.
Tyden: Mommy, there were some weird guys in there.
Me: Where did you learn the word weird? Why were they weird?
Tyden: Cuz they were naked!
:)

Baby Hallie
My college roommate Kate (Isaacson) Syverson had a baby girl on May 4th. I saw her right away in the hospital, but today was Tyden's first time seeing her. She is so cute and we had so much fun visiting them at their house in Hawley. Tyden loves baby Hallie and told me that "We will have a baby Hallie someday." Haha, it might be a little while.
Cobber Games!
We got a new "t" for t-ball. We sit out in right field at Dad's games so the kids can run around. It is a perfect set-up for us. The Cobbers had a great year finishing 2nd in the MIAC and Dad was awarded Coach of the Year! Tyden's favorite part is running around the bases after the games. The field is now all torn up as they are getting Field Turf. We kept home plate!

Easter!
The Easter Bunny came multiple times for Tyden on Easter Sunday. He came to our house and brought Tyden a new bat and some other goodies. He came to Auntie Jennifer's house (but really I think it was the Grandma Penny Easter Bunny)! There were eggs everywhere in the backyard! It was a beautiful day so we played some t-ball....actually we played a lot of t-ball. It is absolutely exhuasting! Some of dad's players came for Easter so they took turns playing t-ball with Tyden which gave me a little break. Oh and I can't forget the carrot bat! Only my mother would find a carrot bat! :)

The Metrodome!
We took Tyden to Minneapolis 2 weekends in a row, for dad's Cobber games and then for the boys basketball state tournament. Tyden's eyes were like saucers when we walked into the Metrodome! He saw Kirby Puckett's picture and started to shake! We put on our rally caps and they worked, we went to the mall and tried on Vikings horns, and we went swimming, and the best part was running the bases in the metrodome! Oh and Tyden got to see Target Field from the skyway and the conversation went like this...
Tyden- Mommy, that is where the Twins play!
Me- Yep, they will play there, they used to play in the Metrodome!
Tyden- Do I get to go there someday?
Me- Yep, we get to go in May.
Tyden- After he got done jumping up and down after I said he could go to a game he said, "Mommy, that is a really cool place!"
Me- haha yes it is!
Go Brett Go!
