WHEW!

I know it has been long overdue for a new post! Up until this very hour, I have been doing scouting reports, traveling to games and to watch recruits, finishing my grad school classes (1 semester left!!!), and squeezing in some Tyden time! I am currently at home after a 6am practice and I am watching Regis & Kelly and not feeling guilty about it! :) I am so happy to have a break as it is much needed. Tyden has been a trooper through it all. He comes recruiting with me so I don't feel like a workaholic! He recently showed me how he can "follow-through like mom's players"...he really does follow-through when he shoots baskets! He reminds me everyday that he is still on Santa's good list. We did take him to Santa's village and he was rather impressed with Santa and the real reindeer...he continues to talk about how he saw the reindeer going potty! :) :) We did the potty training thing over a long weekend in October. He was actually pretty easy and now he wears underwear at night like Papa's players! :) Here is a picture of Tyden, Katelynn and Austin at Santa's village.

Papa turns 60!

We celebrated my dad's bday with dinner at my mom and dad's house. It was wonderful! The kids got to help Papa blow out his candle.

Happy Halloween!

Tyden was a Cowboy tonight for Halloween! He had so much fun! We had pumpkin shaped pizza at Auntie Jennifer's house and then went trick-or-treating. Tyden said "trick-or-treat" and "thank you" at each house so I was very proud! He also ran the entire time as he always had to be first at the next house. In one of the pictures you will see from left to right-Katelynn, Tyden, Eli, Noah, and Austin. Eli and Noah are my sister's nephews on Craig's side. It was such a fun day/night. Tyden was so tired he fell asleep as he hit the pillow.

Carving Pumpkins with Papa

Every year Papa finds the biggest pumpkin for each grandkid. Tyden told Cobber Kids that Papa grows the pumpkins and when they asked where he grows them he said...."walmart!" :) He doesn't like to dig his hands in the pumpkin, but would use a spoon!

Skull Cap?

Yes, a skull cap!! I bet you know who was behind this...his uncles! Brett got this skull cap for football. He tried it on Tyden and then taught him how to look "tough." He wore it for quite some time! They now think he needs one for Christmas. He could be the first two year old with his very own skull cap! :)

Football Fever

Football is officially underway for the Cobbers! They played great on saturday and beat #8 in the country Willamette. Now that Tyden is watching football he always wants to tackle people. He knows he can't tackle Austin anymore (that was not a good situation) but he can tackle, mom, dad, and uncles! Uncle Todd is playing for the Cobbers and Tyden loves to sing the Cobber fight song and go to the games!

The Boys

My mom and dad got Tyden and Austin matching Twins jackets. They are sporting them here at the Redhawks game! Tyden is also standing with Katelynn for the national anthem. He was copying how the players stand for the anthem with his hat behind his back. Does it get cuter?????
